Why we made it

Every restaurant runs on checklists: opening, closing, temperatures, cleaning, cash, deliveries. Most of them still live on a clipboard in the office or in a form that was designed for a desk. The result is familiar to anyone who has run a shift. Checks get ticked from memory, problems get noticed but never written down, and the owner finds out the next day, if at all.

We started from how a manager actually moves through a restaurant. The checks are grouped by where they happen and put in walking order, so a full walk-through is one loop instead of a dozen trips back to the office. When something fails, the fix is written down right there. When a report is late, the right person hears about it while there's still time to act.

Fewer steps on the floor

If a feature makes the person doing the check walk further or tap more, it doesn't ship.

Honest records

Every answer carries who gave it and when. Photos and fix notes stay attached to the check they belong to.

Plain language

Kitchen staff, servers and owners should all understand every screen without a manual.
